Kayonza Community holds a special place as the birthplace of Africa New Life Ministries in Rwanda. Since 2001, this vibrant community in Rwanda’s Eastern Province has been transforming lives through education, healthcare, and spiritual development.
Kayonza stands out for its educational excellence, being home to one of the best-performing schools in the Eastern Province, New Life Christian Academy Kayonza, which is identified with extraordinary academic results that open doors for students across Rwanda and beyond.
Beyond Kigali, the Kayonza community has a guest house that gives visitors the unique opportunity to experience an immersive experience of life in our Kayonza community. Guests can tour our campus and witness firsthand the transformative impact of Africa New Life Ministries.
Over 2,700 students have received sponsorship through our Child Sponsorship Program in Kayonza, with alumni becoming doctors, nurses, engineers, and professionals in various fields. We've also provided life-changing medical interventions, including sponsored sending students to India for specialized treatment with medical bills fully covered by ANLM, and a community nurse who takes care of the health of our sponsored children
New Life Church in Kayonza offers three Sunday services (8:00-10:00 AM, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, 2:00-4:00 PM), weekly Friday services (4:00-7:00 PM), and monthly women’s services on the third Saturday of each month. Visitors can expect passionate worship filled with vibrant music, traditional dance, heartfelt prayer, and powerful biblical teaching, with opportunities to meet sponsored students and hear their inspiring stories.
