Nyanza is a quiet farming community situated in the southern region of Rwanda, with a rich cultural history. It was once home to the Rwandan Kings and is known for its special Inyambo cows. Most people here grow crops and raise cattle
Africa New Life Ministries began its work in Nyanza in February 2024. In Nyanza, we currently sponsor 260 children through our sponsorship program. These children are able to attend school regularly. We give them scholastic materials, health services, and provide spiritual guidance to families, which in turn helps strengthen the relationships at their home.
Our Nyanza community is currently building a church and hopes to hold its first Sunday service in December. Until then, ministry work continues through home visits and family meetings.
